Langfruit

Langfruit is the location of Van Rijn Trading in Venlo. Since 1974 Langfruit is taking care of worldwide delivery of a wide variety of fruits and vegetables every day. In their modern building in Venlo (10.000 square meters) all the necessary facilities are available to make this possible. In the 7 coldstores with different temperature regimes, products are stored at temperatures of 2ºC, 8ºC and 15ºC. For the asparagus product, one of the coldstores is also fitted with a humidifier system which realizes the right humidity level needed. This ensures that this "white gold" can also be handled under optimum conditions. 

In total, Langfruit has 7 coldstores with a storage capacity of approx. 1.000 pallet positions at its disposal. Apart from that, most products are processed to order via a specific location number system. 

Langfruit has truck and trailer combinations at its disposal from Rijntrans, which collect incoming products at the various location (such as the Port of Rotterdam, Poeldijk and Barendrecht) in the Netherlands and can be used to deliver the products throughout Europe. 

Thanks to their strong network and the favorable location of Fresh Park Venlo, Langfruit is able to deliver products ordered by 13:00 (with the option to re-order until 16:00!) throughout Europe daily so that they are delivered at the customer the same night or in the course of the day.
