The Van Rijn Group is able to add additional value in the chain of fresh produce through group member “Joosen Pakstation” effectively and efficiently pre-packing fruit & vegetables in tailor-made packages, specialising in peppers, tomatoes, brussel sprouts, oranges, mandarins, grapefruits, lemons, limes etc.
The full packaging chain control includes value added services like: in- and outbound logistics, procurement, marketing & support, tracking & tracing and quality assurance. Joosen has several certificates such as Skal , BRC grade A and IFS higher Level. These certifications are reviewed annually by an independent certification body assuring that the fresh, uncut produce of Van Rijn Trading bv and Joosen are safe and reliable when marketed and distributed.
Joosen Pakstation has several facilities such as a isolated pre- packing area (8.000 M2 & temperature controlled), 3 level cold stores (650 M2), 21 isolated docks and state of the art machinery (e.g. flow pack, netlon packing, clipper, foodtainer). Joosen Pakstation offers by means of these facilities an entrance to the European consumer market.
