An enthusiastic team of employees and partners from both Van Rijn Trading (Poeldijk, NL) and Langfruit (Venlo NL) are active daily with regards to breeding, producing and marketing of a wide assortment of vegetables and fruit. The products are for wholesale markets, traders, exclusive restaurants, the food processing industries and retail organisations worldwide. To offer the clients a wide variety of fresh products with a high standard of quality, the Van Rijn Group cooperates with a group of reliable and dedicated suppliers. These suppliers have a passion for their products and meet the highest quality standards- and specifications.
The Van Rijn Group aims for the highest quality products and services by means of internal and external criteria. Products and services (only related to fruit and vegetables) that comply to those criteria are awarded with the unique ‘Rijnstar’ brand.
Own production
The Van Rijn Group has within to their network, access to own production both locally (Netherlands) but also abroad. For example bell peppers: To produce a consistent amount of bell peppers throughout the year, the Van Rijn Group has a partner, Growing Ambition, a greenhouse of 9.5 hectares in the Netherlands. To deliver bell peppers outside of the Dutch season, which starts in March till the end of October, the Van Rijn Group has its own production facility in Egypt. This is managed along with its partner Daltex, in a greenhouse of 5 hectares in the middle of the dessert, in order to guarantee product flow of several types of bell peppers for the rest of the year. Due to this partnerships, the Van Rijn Group can offer a fixed, premium quality, program which meets the highest of all standards- and specifications.
